Things always work as expected,

That’s just how life goes. 😁

We make plans and they are ALWAYS an amazing success; 🎉

At least in some of the old-time TV shows.

But my life is not set up that way.

Things don’t follow exactly as I say.

Events don’t fall in line.

People don’t always keep their word.

Disappoint rears its ugly head just as I think everything is completely superb.

So… here’s the plan!

Disappointment will come, yes…

But for how long will I allow it to be my guest?

It definitely can’t take up permanent residence. Actually, I’m getting tired of being on the fence.

Was I disappointed? Definitely.

But that’s part of our reality.

And I am going to make a valiant effort to allow disappointment to be a temporary guest only, not a permanent resident.
