Daily Prompt: What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

I have ALWAYS wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride. I’ve imagined myself and my father soaring (whatever the distance is) above the earth and feeling free!

I began thinking about this the first time I saw “Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory”. (For everyone who’s younger than the child of a Gen X’er who showed it to them, the star of the first movie is Gene Wilder.) I’m referring to the first movie.

I wasn’t old enough to see the original in the theatre, since it was released in 1971. But that’s what we had laying around the house. And when they busted through the top of that building, I KNEW that I had to take a ride on a hot air balloon one day. And I couldn’t wait 😁😁😁)

But life started lifing, as the saying goes. And at this point, there are too many things malfunctioning and too many angry people shooted things for me to be willing to take the risk 😔

But when I see them in the sky, or I see the festivals on TV, I am completely enamored ❤️❤️❤️
